Hi! My name is Dylan “Toyo” Ubaldo.
I began practicing graphic design in the mid 2000s. As a teenager it was a means to promote my band’s music by creating merch, stencils, and event flyers. Before design was a career, it was a means to sustain creativity within my community.
I have a love for traditional graphic design that utilizes grids, color theory, composition and texture. These principles carry me into unknown territory when designing within the ever growing digital landscape. I’ve grown with design and I’ve watched it grow with technology. I learn new software when I need to and I pick up the pen when duty calls. As much as I enjoy expressing myself and being creative, communication is the most motivating factor in my work.
It’s our job as designers to make it easier for people to understand each other and the world around them.
